As the CTO at Æventyr, a leading tourism company in Northern Norway, I blend my technical expertise with a passion for environmental sustainability to drive digital transformation in the tourism industry. With a background in Geoscience and ongoing studies in Environmental Geoscience, I bring a unique perspective to technology leadership. My work focuses on implementing sustainable solutions that enhance operational efficiency while respecting our natural environment. I'm particularly interested in the application of remote sensing and geospatial analysis to environmental challenges, and I'm currently working on a master thesis project on mapping marine litter using multispectral imagery.

I just returned from an incredible research trip to the northern coast of Svalbard, as part of the LITTER GATE project, which focuses on innovating plastic litter detection using drone-based multispectral imaging. Contributing to this important work in such a remote environment was a unique experience, as was taking part in the beach cleanup, making the trip even more rewarding.
I am excited to have joined the ONS conference in Stavanger! It was a great opportunity to learn about the latest challenges and developments in renewable energy from an industry perspective and to connect with companies for future opportunities. I highly recommend this conference to anyone interested in the energy sector. Special thanks to the teams at Equinor and Statkraft for their hospitality and detailed insights into their graduate and training programs.
